I am a storage engineer originally from Hencovce (Vranov nad Topľou), now residing in Prešov. I graduated from the Technical University of Košice with a major in Telecommunications from the Department of Electronics and Multimedia Telecommunications in 2015. I bring nearly a decade of experience in managing Netapp storage solutions, including older 7-mode ONTAP and modern Clustered ONTAP. I have worked with various models, such as FAS 2xxx, 3xxx, 6xxx, 8xxx, AFF400/800, Solidfire, and E-series. Throughout most of my career as a storage administrator/engineer, my focus was primarily on NAS. However, after transitioning to a new position at a different company, I broadened my expertise to include SAN technologies, specifically FC and iSCSI. I've worked with DELL/EMC Unity, VNX, Clariion, Powerstore, and eXtremeIO. Additionally, I have experience with FC switches from Brocade and Cisco MDS. During my free time, I've channeled my passion for knowledge into earning certifications that expand my skill set.
